The Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Centers offer a step-by-step guide to evaluating your business idea.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) provides a checklist to start and run a business.

·         A good way to start your business is to complete a feasibility or business plan. 

·         Often this planning is necessary to receive funding through banks or others. 

·         There are a variety of ways to complete the plan.  You can:

o    Do it on your own 

o    Take a class 

o    Meet with a counselor 

The SBA provides a good outline for building your business plan.
