That's why we're dedicated to serving the needs of the individual investor and why we do so on a one-to-one basis from neighborhood offices. Some believe that kind of thinking is old-fashioned or even unfashionable, but we're okay with that. Apparently, a few other people in our industry think so too. In 2007-2008, Edward Jones ranked among all firms:
No. 1 in number of offices No. 5 in number of brokers No. 3 in number of employees No. 30 in capital |

 | Innovate St. Louis is the only organization that looks at the entire our region through the lens of entrepreneurship. There are many groups involved in supporting entrepreneurial activity, each with its own goals. Innovate has no desire to duplicate anything that already exists. Rather, it works to increase collaboration and starts new initiatives to strengthen the overall system in St. Louis for entrepreneurial support. Innovate works in partnership on everything it undertakes. In so doing, Innovate:
- Boosts entrepreneurship and innovation throughout the bi-state region by encouraging and facilitating people and groups working together.
- Works across the region to look at all stages of enterprise development -- from early ideas to ongoing growth – encouraging entrepreneurial initiatives, ensuring there are resources to assist developing enterprises, and making the system for connecting entrepreneurs to the help they need more efficient and user friendly.
- Strengthens the region’s entrepreneurial infrastructure and networks.
- Identifies and supports the development of additional industry coalitions that can be levers of growth.
